Rosemale Quillery #59

Norwegian Rosemale painting has been a time-honored folk art form since 1700. There are even earlier records of Rosemaling with a Baroque influence in Norway.

This is my interpretation of Rosemale designs in quilling using thin strips of paper. These are all handmade and no two are ever the same. The picture is 3.5 X 5.5 and the frame measures 7″ X 9″. The piece is a tabletop display.
