Nilla would rather herd cattle on horseback than be inside cooking in the kitchen. She is a handmade Nisse doll from the folklore tradition of Scandinavia. She stands 12 inches tall and her dress is crafted from recycled Norwegian sweaters that are no longer suitable for wearing. Nilla dresses up her vest with a clasp from Norway. Her fur trimmed boots and hat are made of red felt.
Because she is a girl, she also comes with pretty red polka dot leggings and a matching slip and undergarment. As my mother says, “She has to have a slip so her dress doesn’t ride up on her stockings”. She comes with a card tied to her wrist that gives you the opportunity to give her a new name.
