Rosemale Quillery #52

Norwegian Rosemale painting has been a time-honored folk art form since the 1700s. There are even earlier records of Rosemaling with a Baroque influence in Norway.

This is my interpretation of Rosemale designs in quilling using thin strips of paper. Each one is handmade and no two are ever the same. The picture is 3.5 X 4.5 and the frame measures 8″ X 10″. The piece can be a tabletop display or hanging.
